Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations under clinical direction, ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, and review requisitions with physicians. The role involves equipment maintenance, contrast administration, and post-processing with image archiving across the hospital network.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited MRI program credential, ARRT certification, BLS, and MRI-specific certification with at least two years on high-field magnets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology or MRI program.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under supervision and review patient history and requisition with physician.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and perform daily calibration and QA checks.
• Administer contrast material as instructed and handle hypersensitivity responses.
• Transfer and archive images to hospital network and communicate findings to Radiologist.
