Requirements include ARRT registration (or eligibility with registry within one year), state licensure if required, and current CPR. A high school diploma or GED is required to be considered for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be registered by the ARRT.
• If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position.
• Must be licensed by state where required or ARDMS or NMTCB.
• Current CPR required.

• MRI Technologists make a significant difference in a patient’s care.
• Delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging allows providers to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment and management.
• In this role, you will select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight and anatomical differences and general health status of patients.
• You must demonstrate the knowledge to identify educational needs, obtain a patient’s history, and use easily understood terminology for explaining procedures and care to patients.
