Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform imaging procedures at a technical level, ensuring patient safety and high-quality image acquisition. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and conducting neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans per radiologist protocols.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology training program.
• Ability to identify anatomy on images and perform quality control tests.
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures and answer patient questions.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of MRI processes and safety standards, with responsibility for equipment quality control and reporting malfunctions.
• Perform venous access for IV contrast administration and enter data into imaging systems.
• Assist in supply management and act as a radiology liaison supporting physicians.
• Handle non-controlled medications during exams and ensure adherence to safety policies.
