The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scanning and related radiologic procedures. You will prepare patients, verify orders with radiologists, and maintain image quality while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include patient identification, history review, order documentation, and assisting during invasive procedures. Strong knowledge of MRI safety and equipment operation is essential for this role.

Formación

• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Verify orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients and document on appropriate worksheets.
• Interview for medical history and review EMRs.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast in MAR.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Provide life support and assist in code blue procedures when needed.
