Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety. You will prepare patients, document histories, and assist during invasive procedures in a fast-paced radiology department.

Responsibilities include operating the radiology computer system, maintaining infection control, and adhering to safety standards while supporting the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing the exam.
• Identify patients and provide clear explanations of procedures.
• Perform MRI scans and assist during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and document contrast administration.
• Operate radiology computer system and document in MAR.
