Job summary

UCHealth Greeley Hospital in Greeley, CO is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This onsite, PRN role requires flexibility in shift and pay is commensurate with experience. The MRI team emphasizes patient education, safety, quality control, and timely image acquisition to support accurate diagnoses and excellent care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• RT registration with MRI specialization or registry eligible; complete within 12 months.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, orders, scheduling and educate patient about procedures.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient condition as required.
• Prepare equipment, set exposure factors, ensure safety and perform QC on equipment.
• Position patients and perform imaging; analyze results and report issues with image quality.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
