Position Overview

Perform diagnostic MRI imaging, operate MRI equipment, administer contrast under supervision, screen patients for contraindications, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Operate MRI equipment in accordance with protocols.
2. Administer contrast material for enhanced examinations.
3. Screen patients for contraindications before MRI procedures.
4. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
5. Maintain accurate documentation and follow department protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiological or MRI technologist program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license.
• Previous experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
