Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered.
• Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with MRI procedures.
• Implement screening and safety measures according to MRI safety standards.
• Prepare and administer contrast media to patients.
• Assist radiologist in special procedures during emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with other areas.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients regarding procedures.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with physician orders.
• Know the locations and operation of all emergency equipment.
