Qualifications
CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.

ARRT RT (R) or ARMRIT registry required.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered.
Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with MRI procedures.
Implement screening and safety measures according to MRI safety standards.
Prepare and administer contrast media to patients.
Assist radiologist in special procedures during emergencies.
Coordinate patient care with other areas.
Assess learning needs and educate patients regarding procedures.
Maintain records and ensure compliance with physician orders.
Know the locations and operation of all emergency equipment.
