Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist to assist radiologists during imaging, operate MRI systems, and ensure high-quality studies. You will manage patient screening, image acquisition, and post-processing to support accurate interpretation.

This role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification and BLS, with daily safety checks and meticulous attention to protocol adherence. Work involves variable shifts and on-site assignments in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• ARRT, NMTCB and BLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and contrast administration.
• Experience using PACS and post-processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment, including magnet, injectors, consoles, monitors, and cardiac gating equipment.
• Adjusts pulse sequences per body part and diagnosis.
• Ensures correct anatomic positioning and performs daily safety/quality checks.
