Job summary

UC Health in West Chester, Ohio, is hiring a full-time Registered MRI Technologist to support the Radiology Department at West Chester Hospital. Responsibilities include performing MRI exams, reviewing histories, and ensuring patient safety, with a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT MR certification, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology (bachelor preferred), and CPR/BLS credentials, plus strong patient communication and safety protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered or have equivalent certifications (ARRT-MR licensure required).
• Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers.
• Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Explains procedures to patients and reviews safety with patients and staff.
• Operates MRI equipment and reviews images for diagnostic quality.
• Administers contrast media or medications as directed.
• Maintains records, supplies, and participates in quality control.
• Provides CPR or emergency care as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and departmental performance improvements.
