Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking an MRI technologist in Ohio to perform MRI scans under radiologist direction and then independently after orientation. You will deliver compassionate patient care across age groups, ensure safety in the MR suite, and maintain proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate, enhanced PTO for experienced candidates, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of two educational pathways: ARRT-R pathway with an accredited 2-year radiologic or nuclear medicine program, or MRI/ARDMS/NMTCB pathway with a primary MRI track.
• Clinically MR scanning experience is preferred and beneficial.
• Knowledge of sterile procedures and radiology information systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans as directed by radiologist and operate independently after orientation.
• Provide age-specific patient care from neonates to geriatrics.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and knowledge of MRI equipment and PACS/RIS/EMR.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and clinicians to ensure efficient department operations.
• Support self-development and a learning environment within the MR area.
