Job summary

Revo Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for a part-time role in Waconia. The position entails performing MRI procedures and preparing patients, with weekend shifts (every other weekend) from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Requirements include graduation from an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program and ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification, or at least 1 year of MRI experience. A sign-on bonus is offered for select roles.

• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with careful attention to safety and quality per physician orders.
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures, including researching implanted devices.
• Maintain patient files and manage imaging records and films.
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with necessary supplies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Maintain precautions for radiofrequency exposure.
• May include IV contrast administration.

Job description

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients.
This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) position, working every other weekend 8:00am-4:30pm primarily out of our Waconia location.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
• Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
• May include IV contrast administration as needed
• Any and all other duties as assigned
  

Education And Experience

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department required.

Benefits & Compensation

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $4,000 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
