Job summary

Revo Health is seeking an MRI Technologist in Minnesota for a part-time position (0.2 FTE, 8 hours/week) with shifts between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Burnsville/Edina Crosstown locations. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT training and MRI certification, with potential for IV contrast administration and patient preparation.

The position operates within Twin Cities Orthopedics, an i-Health division, offering a sign-on bonus for select roles and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program.
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or minimum 1 year full-time MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in proximity to the superconducting magnet as ordered by physicians.
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures, including researching implanted devices.
• Maintain patient files and manage films.
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
• Maintain safety precautions for radiofrequency exposure.
• May administer IV contrast when needed.

Job description

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients.

This is a part‑time role (0.2 FTE), 8 hours per week, with the option to work either one full shift or two half‑day shifts between the hours of 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM out of our Burnsville and Edina Crosstown locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
• Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
• May include IV contrast administration as needed
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department required.

Benefits & Compensation

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $4,000 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
