Job summary

Revo Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform quality MRI images per physician orders and deliver excellent patient service. This full-time role supports multiple locations in the Twin Cities area, including Brooklyn Park, Plymouth, and Blaine, with a schedule that is Monday–Friday and alternating weekends.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT or ARMRIT approved training with MRI certification or 1 year of MRI experience, and be able to prepare patients, maintain records, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program.
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or 1 year MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures near the magnet per physician orders.
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures, researching implanted devices.
• Maintain patient files and films.
• Prepare, clean and stock work area; coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Monitor safety and RF exposure; administer IV contrast if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients.

This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday, variable between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, and every other weekend 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM out of our Brooklyn Park, Plymouth, and Blaine locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
• Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
• May include IV contrast administration as needed
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department required.

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $4,000 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
