Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare patients for scans, and maintain accurate patient records across multiple locations in Minnesota. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT credentials or equivalent experience, with on‑site scheduling and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full‑time MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in proximity to the superconducting magnet for physicians' use in diagnosis.
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices.
• Maintain patient files and films.
• Prepare, clean and stock the work area with supplies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
• Maintain precautions for exposure to radiofrequency energy.
• May include IV contrast administration as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients.

This is a full‑time role, working Monday – Friday, variable between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, and every other weekend 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM out of our Brooklyn Park, Plymouth, and Blaine locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions

• Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
• Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintain the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
• May include IV contrast administration as needed
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full‑time experience in an MRI department required

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience
• A $4,000 sign‑on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12‑month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign‑on bonus.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents
