Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our growing team. This full-time role involves working with a state-of-the-art mobile scanner and serving local communities within an employee-owned, stability-focused organization.

You will perform MRI imaging with guidance from site Radiologists, ensure patient screening and safe, respectful care, and maintain professional competency through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration is required.
• ARRT (MR) registration is preferred.
• Ability to produce quality MRI imaging with limited supervision and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including administering contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and clearly explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and keep technical competency up to date through continuing education.
