UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT, is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a patient-centered team in a world-class academic medical center. The MRI Tech I will perform complex MRI exams and ensure safety for patients with implants, under supervision of the Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MRI certification or NMTCB, with 2+ years radiology imaging experience and BLS certification. CAHEA/JRCT-approved education is required with ongoing certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARMRIT, or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), ARRT MRI Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform complex MRI exams on varying strength magnets using MRI technology.
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor; enforce MRI safety and patient comfort.
