Job summary

Akumin in Key West is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time role at our outpatient imaging facility. You will maintain patient safety, perform high-quality MRI scans, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities include pre-screening for contra-indications, preparing the unit, ordering supplies, and coordinating with radiologists. ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered technologists with CPR and state license preferred; associate degree and MR registry are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience is required.
• Registered Technologist (ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS) with CPR.
• State license as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Order supplies, clean the unit, assist in transport prep daily.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and staff.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.
