Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an MRI Technologist at our Radiology - MRI department in Boston. The role supports MRI procedures to aid physicians, with a focus on patient and staff communication in a busy care setting.

Location: 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA. Schedule: Full-time Fri–Sun 6:30 AM–7:00 PM. Requires CT/MRI Technologist certification, ARRT registration, ACLS as needed; external applicants may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification as CT/MRI Technologist required
• ACLS may be required based on specialty
• ARRT registration required by the State
• Proven ability to analyze and solve technical problems
• Good communication skills to explain instructions to patients and staff

Aufgaben

• Lifts and positions patients, operates MRI equipment and administers contrast media
• Demonstrates MRI safety knowledge
• Reviews patient history prior to study
• Monitors patient during procedure and assists with CPR
• Ensures accurate film quality for physician interpretation
• Maintains infection control and equipment cleanliness
• Assists with QA/QC activities
• Collaborates with physicians and staff across levels
• Manages daily schedule to maximize throughput
• Supports staff and patients and addresses concerns
