Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Monroeville, PA is seeking radiologic technologists to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level with independent judgment.

You will position patients, operate equipment, prepare contrast as needed, ensure image quality, educate patients, and comply with safety and HIPAA policies. Prior radiology experience and ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT in Radiography (R) or MR technologist certification required
• Prior radiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure independently; analyzes results and ensures image quality.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered; monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and quality control.
