Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Full-Time MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and support daily modality operations at Springfield Regional Medical Center. You will work under radiologists and help train onsite students, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

This role requires ARRT MRI certification, MRI registry, and hands-on experience; BLS; strong interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to workflow changes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• MRI Registry or ARMRIT/ARRT certification required.
• State licensure preferred; BLS certification.
• 1 year MRI department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and coils to acquire images per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Provides training and onboarding assistance to new staff and students.
• Performs quality assurance and collaborates with radiology team.
• Maintains equipment and records patient history and consent.
