Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images and support patient care in New Jersey. The role requires reviewing orders, selecting imaging coils, performing studies, and coordinating with physicians to optimize sequences.

Candidates should have an MRI program certificate or degree and ARRT MR certification within 9 months, with on-call and weekend shifts possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate/degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Reviews chart/physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Performs MRI scans using appropriate protocols.
• Adminsisters contrast media per dept protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and MRI safety standards.
• Maintains documentation in EMR/PACS and other hospital systems.
• On-call and weekend shift availability as required.
