Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging studies, select coils, administer contrast, and collaborate with physicians to optimize MRI sequences. You will ensure patient safety, document results, and participate in daily clerical duties using EMR/PACS.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, completion from an accredited radiography/MRI program, and ARRT MR or ARMRIT within 9 months plus BLS within 60 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 9 months of entering position.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of entering position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Reviews chart/order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects imaging coil and performs imaging studies.
• Administers contrast media per dept protocols.
• Maintains MRI safety standards and patient preparation.
• Documents data in EMR/PACS and performs QA.
• On-call and weekend shift availability.
