Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety within a fast-paced imaging center. You will administer contrast safely, adjust equipment parameters, and guide patients through procedures with clear communication.

The role requires ARRT(MR) certification, a relevant state license if applicable, and BLS. Experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred; on-site medications and patient privacy must be safeguarded, with professional teamwork

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology may be required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions and field of view on the equipment to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the process and address questions about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI on site.
• Safeguard on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain respect for company property and patient financial information.
• Demonstrate professionalism toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
