Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract. You will perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients, prepare the scan room, and administer contrast as needed, while ensuring safety and image quality.

Schedule: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts plus one weekend per month (7 AM–3:30 PM). Must have MRI experience, Siemens equipment proficiency, ARRT MRI, and BLS certification; travel and housing support may apply.

Qualifications

• MRI experience required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment required.
• ARRT MRI certification required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Skills checklist updated within the last year required.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for examinations.
• Draw up and administer IV and oral contrast as needed.
• Warm-up MRI equipment and enter patient data and scan parameters.
• Interview and screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI studies.
• Transport and position patients appropriately for exams.
• Perform scans while ensuring proper imaging protocols and positioning.
• Mark and enter images correctly for orientation and order.
• Prepare records for radiologists ensuring completion and correct order of images.
