Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for the second shift in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment in Spartanburg, SC. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with staff to maintain image quality and documentation.

The role requires ARRT MRI advanced registry, accredited radiologic technology education, CPR certification, and state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate must have an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT MRI advanced registry required.
• Maintain CEUs to keep certification active.
• Active state licensure where applicable.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans safely and efficiently.
• Screen, prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout exams.
• Review orders, select imaging protocols, and administer contrast when required.
• Ensure image quality and complete documentation.
• Maintain patient care, customer service, and safety standards.
• Follow MedQuest policies, OSHA regulations, and QA requirements.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe MRI environment.
• Participate in continuing education, cross-training, and certification maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
