Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The role focuses on integrating scientific knowledge with technical skill to perform MRI scans while ensuring excellent patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered with advanced MRI
• Must complete CEUs in a timely manner to maintain Certification
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• CPR Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Complete MRI scans accurately and efficiently while ensuring patient safety
• Screen patients for ferrous materials and RF-sensitive devices prior to imaging
• Position patients and select immobilization devices to optimize image quality
• Review physician requests and tailor scanning parameters accordingly
• Administer contrast agents in compliance with regulations
• Document results and archive images per guidelines
• Maintain equipment through routine checks and preventive maintenance
• Provide excellent patient interaction and education throughout procedures
