Job summary

UC Health is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for the West Chester Hospital radiology department to produce diagnostic MR scans and assist in patient care. This full-time, second-shift role requires strict adherence to MRI safety and teamwork with radiologists and technologists.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be ARRT registered or have equivalent certification within 12 months.
• Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging per established protocols.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed consent for invasive procedures.
• Position patients and ensure protection from magnetic hazards during imaging.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Assist in patient care, administer contrast per protocol, and document procedures.
