Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered in Radiology and MRI within one year of hire; OR ARMRIT certification.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI scanning as directed by the Radiologist.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and screens for MR safety.
• Prepares scan room and maintains supplies and cleanliness.
• Administers contrast materials per protocol.
• Implements emergency procedures as needed.
• Performs data entry and relevant department computer tasks.
• Conducts quality control tasks on equipment and procedures.
• Informs patients of delays and coordinates daily workflow.
