Job summary

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of relevant MRI experience or entry-level candidates.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA is required.
  • MRI experience preferred; advanced certification within 12 months of hire is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Screen patients for safety and ferromagnetic objects.
  • Educate patients on scan expectations and comfort.
  • Obtain IV access and administer contrast as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to adverse contrast events.
  • Perform routine QC and ensure MRI equipment is functioning.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians.
  • Document required information in EMR.
  • Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
