Job summary

The UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine in Florida seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in MR imaging. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform MRI procedures at a technical level with independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MR images.

Qualifications

• Requires Registered, ARRT MRI (R)(MR)(ARRT) certification and active State of Florida CRT license.
• OR graduate of an accredited ARMRIT certification program and Registered, ARRT MRI (MR) (ARRT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under Radiologist direction with independent judgment to apply prescribed MRI protocols and radiation/radiofrequency beams as needed for radiologic diagnosis or intervention.
• Utilize magnetic fields to produce high-quality MR images.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

- Require Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (R)(MR)(ARRT) certification and active State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license. - OR -- Require graduate of an accredited American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT) certification program and Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (MR)ARRT) certification.
