Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered MRI technologist with ARRT MRI (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification program.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention and use magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

• Require Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, MRI, (R)(MR)(ARRT) certification or graduate of an accredited American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification program.
