Healthforce is seeking an MRI Technologist – Radiology for a travel assignment in Lancaster, PA. The role covers a 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours and a night shift from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

The position requires ARRT and BLS, with MRI certification preferred. On-site work in a hospital setting is expected, with Siemens Avanto VB19 equipment used to deliver diagnostic-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

• Availability for Mon–Fri, 3:30 PM–12:30 AM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations using Siemens Avanto VB19, following established imaging protocols to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Screen patients for MRI safety, obtain appropriate consent, and position patients and coils to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patients during scanning, manage patient comfort, and respond to adverse events or equipment alarms.
• Verify patient identity and exam details, document procedures, and communicate findings to radiology team per department standards.
• Maintain room and equipment safety, adhere to infection control practices, and support any required contrast administration.
