Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital (LGH) in Lancaster, PA seeks an MR technologist to perform MR procedures on pediatric and adult patients under the direction of the radiologist, with emphasis on anatomical positioning, magnetic field safety and cross-sectional anatomy.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek with a mid-shift schedule (3:30pm–12:00am), no weekend rotation, and occasional on-call weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced MRI certification within 1 year of hire.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, explain the procedure, gains consent for contrast and address patient concerns.
• Perform checks for prescription accuracy, precertification/authorization if required, and patient identification.
• Perform MR procedures following imaging protocols.
• Compile and review images, provide comparison studies, and prepare documentation.
• Perform quality control testing and routine maintenance on equipment.
