• Verify patient details upon arrival for scheduled appointments.
• Prepare patient for MRI exam and conduct initial MRI safety screening.
• Assist technologist in preparing MRI room and patient positioning.
• Report unusual patient care situations promptly.
• Provide basic comfort and safety for patients.
• Demonstrate appropriate communication with patients, families and staff.
• Act as patient advocate and address patient/family concerns.
• Respond properly to emergencies.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and safety according to standards.
• Stock supplies and manage inventory for department.
• Demonstrate computer skills for department responsibilities.
• Answer phones, route calls, and take messages.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform basic clerical duties.
