Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Texas seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and radiographs, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. You will prepare patients, administer contrast when needed, document procedures in Meditech, and communicate results to the interpreting radiologist.

The role requires 1–2 years of MRI experience (preferred), graduate training in radiology or MRI, ARRT MR certification, and a strong commitment to patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• One - two years of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate of radiology or MRI program accredited by JRCERT or AMA-approved.
• ARRT MR certification and BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and radiographs per ARRT standards.
• Prepare patients and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Complete required documentation and logs in Meditech.
• Administer contrast using proper technique.
• Produce diagnostic-quality scans and label images per protocol.
• Communicate findings and information to the radiologist promptly.
