Job summary

Atrium Health in Concord, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform procedures per department protocols. You will operate MRI scanners and related equipment with proficiency, including contrast injectors and monitoring gear.

This is a part-time PRN position with variable hours. Ideal candidates have an ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT enrollment and CPR certification, and must work with radiologists as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry or ARMRIT enrollment required; registry within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners per departmental protocols and standards.
• Verify orders with radiologist; address discrepancies.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and document administration.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor during procedures; assist on emergencies.
