Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program enrolled; registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and question discrepancies with the Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review patient history and correlate with exam findings in EMR.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocols; record contrast details.
