Job summary

St. David's Georgetown Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN. The role performs MRI exams per ARRT standards, applies anatomy knowledge, and ensures patient safety during procedures.

Qualified candidates have an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT MR and CMRT certifications, and BLS CPR. Experience preferred, with patient interaction and collaboration with radiology staff emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT MR certification and CMRT preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI Procedures in accordance with ARRT and department policies.
• Photograph and format all exams with proper clinical history.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize and perform exams efficiently.
• Communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and well-supplied department at all times.
• Interact daily with patients, physicians, family members, and other hospital staff.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Imaging Services.
