Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI imaging and contribute to high-quality patient care. This PRN role supports the radiology team in Belton, Missouri, with on-call duties and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT-registered, have completed an accredited Radiology Technology program, and be prepared to obtain MR certification if not already registered. BCLS must be completed within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registration required; MR certification preferred or must obtain MR registry within 6 months of hire.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• 1–3 years MRI experience preferred.
• On-call required with ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and assist with MRI procedures.
• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging.
• Ensure image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide proper post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Maintain sterile technique and clean equipment between patients.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
