Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform specialized magnetic resonance imaging. You will assist patients, ensure quality imaging, and collaborate with the Radiologist.

The ideal candidate has a Radiology Technology degree, is ARRT registered, and preferably has 2-3 years of MRI experience. The position includes comprehensive benefits and contributes to a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registered, ARRT MR preferred upon hire.
• 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Prepare the room using a septic technique between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.

Responsibilities

• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using a septic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
• ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following.
• BCLSrequiredwithin30 daysof start date.
• 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
• On Callrequired and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.
