Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide patient care during MRI procedures and to operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images. You will relay images and relevant clinical information to physicians for interpretation, assist with scheduling, and participate in after-hours coverage as needed.

The role requires ARRT certification, state radiologic technologist registration, and MRI training, with related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Completion of MRI Training.
• MRI registry or certification as required by state and facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust technical factors for diagnostic-quality images.
• Relay images with clinical information to the physician for interpretation.
• Assist with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Take backup call after hours to ensure high-volume coverage.
