Job summary

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist I to join our patient-focused team in Raleigh, NC. Work shifts on weekday and weekend as needed, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT or ARMIT certification, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and the ability to work independently. We offer competitive base pay, shift differential where applicable, and a supportive outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT registration; MR advanced registry required on hire for IDTF centers.
• MR advanced registry must be obtained within 12 months for non-IDTF centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex MRI procedures according to protocol.
• Operate MRI equipment and applicable ancillary devices.
• Work independently and multitask while maintaining patient safety.
• Document imaging procedures accurately and concisely.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiopharmacology in imaging.

Requirements

Experience

• Up to 3 years experience as a MRI Technologist

Education

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

Skills / Abilities

• Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
• Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
