Job summary

Piedmont Community Imaging is partnering with Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC to provide outpatient MRI services in Columbus, GA. This PRN MRI Technologist role focuses on high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and flexible scheduling to support outpatient centers.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in Radiology or equivalent, ARRT/ARMRIT registration, and state licensure as required, with experience performing MRI exams in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of a two-year radiology program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration current at hire and maintain registration.
• Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT upon hire; state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams safely and efficiently with high-quality imaging.
• Provide compassionate patient care and address patient comfort throughout imaging.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment readiness for scheduled studies.

MRI Technologist - PRN (as needed)

Position Summary:

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform MRI exams safely and efficiently, while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This PRN opportunity is ideal if you’re an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details:

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage
• Location: Opportunity to pick up shifts at either of our two outpatient imaging centers in Columbus, GA:
• - 7500 Veterans Parkway
• - 2040 10th Avenue

Requirements

Education:

• Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and maintain current, valid registration.
• Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
