Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2‑year, AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) is necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of prior/current MRI Technologist experience is needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high‑quality MR images ensuring optimal films are submitted.
• Facilitate MRI procedures using appropriate techniques and contrast materials.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring modesty and safety.
• Document pertinent clinical information prior to exams.
• Maintain communication with patients and colleagues, including radiologists.
• Check equipment operation and maintain cleanliness to prevent contamination.
• Accept on-call responsibilities as needed.
