Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT requirement; registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures; prep and document.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs for pertinent data.
• Perform MRI scans and assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
