Job summary

Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER in Wichita, KS seeks an MRI Technologist PRN to join a leading healthcare network. You will adapt techniques for all ages, position patients, perform MR procedures, and maintain documentation and scanner knowledge.

Responsibilities include safety, universal protocol adherence, and training of staff and students. This PRN role is on-site with Wesley Healthcare, part of HCA Healthcare, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography required.
• ARRT-MR or equivalent MR certification required or Associate Degree within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to procedure type.
• Performs procedures and assesses patients, responding to needs as appropriate.
• Completes documentation for each study performed.
• Operates computer and PACS functions; observes safety regulations and aseptic technique.
• Demonstrates knowledge of universal protocols.
• Uses professional judgment and critical thinking during procedures.
• Instructs students during rotations and participates in staff orientation.
• Maintains knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure high-quality procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
