Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and acquire diagnostic images with precision. You will position patients, set appropriate imaging parameters, and ensure safe, high-quality results for radiology exams.

You will collaborate with the radiology team, perform pre-screening and patient education, and maintain equipment and PACS image quality while upholding department cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MRI or Radiology Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and set imaging parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
• Perform pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Enter and transfer patient data and images to PACS.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice and regulations.
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate patient data in all submissions to PACS.
• Maintain clean, organized department and functioning equipment.
