Job summary

Proforma Health in Monroe, GA seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. You will operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, apply contrast when appropriate, and follow strict safety and procedural protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and with team support.
• Proficiency in MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical history, review images, and assess patient conditions.
• Ensure patient identification, privacy, and comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when appropriate, and follow care protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety using AIDET principles.
• Assist in training staff and participate in quality control and documentation.
