Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging department. The role involves performing routine and advanced MR procedures, patient education, and on-call duties as needed. Certification in MRI and BLS are required upon hire, with training in an accredited radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant MRI experience.
• BLS certification on hire.
• ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification on hire.
• Accredited radiologic technology program with MRI training.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging studies and obtain patient history.
• Explain routine procedures and address patient concerns.
• Administer IV contrast under physician supervision and recognize contrast reactions.
• Schedule cases and coordinate with other examinations.
• Position and transfer patients and ensure MRI safety.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Accredited radiologic technology program with MRI training

ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification

BLS certification on hire
